Edward Eldred

Edward Eldred is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who focuses his practice on the local district courts and civil and criminal appeals before the North Carolina Appellate Courts.
Ed has been listed in Super Lawyers as an appellate lawyer since 2019.
Before joining our firm in 2023, Ed clerked for two judges at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, practiced with a large firm in Raleigh, and managed his own practice for thirteen years.
His practice focuses on criminal and civil matters in Orange and Chatham County District Courts and appeals to the North Carolina Court of Appeals, North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ed has argued hundreds of matters in the local criminal and civil district courts and briefed over 200 appeals. He has argued before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court and won reversals for clients in a variety of civil and criminal matters, including:

Ed grew up in Chapel Hill and lives with his family in Carrboro.
